Like the Breakers, the Biltmore and the Casa Marina, the Vinoy Renaissance Hotel continues to be a Florida destination hotel, where the glamour of the past (Henry Flagler years) joins the excellent accommodations of the present and for us in the ballroom dance field the Vinoy is a perfect setting for a dance competition.

Open Professional Ballroom – Vegas Open

Saturday night at the Vegas Open Dance Challenge was a very special night because the Professional Open International Ballroom event was dedicated to a Dance Legend whom we lost almost a year ago, Mr. Brian Puttock.  The audience, dancers and all the officials gave huge support to Susan Puttock.

Living up to the name!

Last night the San Diego Beach Bash lived up to its name.  What started with a bash ended up with a bash! The feature events, Professional Ballroom, Rhythm, Smooth and Latin were terrific and well attended, and the bash reception by the pool after the competition completed this bash and sent most of us home wanting to come back.
